Superheroes are more overrated than our Wawasan 2020.

Especially with lines like this:

(White Morphine Ranger to a pasar-malam-cheap-looking monster boss) “I scratch your back, you scratch mine. That was the agreement, right?”

Well, as nice as the idea is, Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Batman, etc……they just aren’t realistic at all. After all, “baddies” like Mr. Kim of North Korea and Osama don’t exactly attack us while we’re asleep or kidnap our Mary Janes and Louis Lanes.

Superheroes are funky because they have superpowers? What’s more super in this world than creating viruses to force the world to buy your anti-virus programs? : D
.
Oh yeah, stupidity. I forgot.

You know what our world really needs? Real superheroes. Not just any corny Hallmark superhero (dad/mum/the sane old lady who picks up everyone’s trash in the neighbourhood/the wise old uncle who used his bankruptcy to teach lil’ kids not to gamble/etc) either. Superheroes that when actually work, they fight the real crimes of the world and significantly encourage world peace…
