The meaning of (no) life

(Edited: Correction on how the Beatles got their name.)

Before I proceed with more inane babble, I would like to make it clear to all that Buddhism is not supposed to be an organized religion. In actual, it is as organized as Taoism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, and Hinduism.

Though, it is definitely not Scientology or Ayah Pin or Kabbalah; whatever they mean.

Buddhism and Taoism are merely ways of living. Believe it or not, one undoubtedly can find God if they understand true Buddhism and Taoism. They are not mutually exclusive ideas.

Though some may beg to contradict this historical fact, it is hard to challenge the idea that Prince Siddharta or Gautama Buddha was born on the month of May. Since that many celebrate his birth, enlightenment, and passing on the 1st of May, it should be safe to assume that Gautama here was born under the Sun sign of Taurus.

Taurans (by Sun sign, at least) are naturally patient creatures. They appreciate beauty to a large extent, but only if it fits its mostly practical lifestyle. Hard-headed, they are passionate souls. They take their time to trust people and its environment. Once people have gain their trust, they can be very loyal friends.

Alas, the above is but a very general description. I am not a professional astrologer, after all. And I have digressed. What I wanted to point out is that Gautama Buddha, being the Tauran he was, has the patience the Piscean me (by Sun sign) can only gradually learn to maintain because naturally speaking, I am impulsive by nature; fickle-minded; I go with The Flow, most of the time.

I can only try to be as patient as the last Buddha was in attempting to teach the Ultimate Truth of Life.

Mind you, this does not mean that I can teach you what God really is all about, though I may claim to know some parts of it. Because, God is God, and the asshole here really works in mysterious ways.

Jolin has just been enlightened at heart, that is all. She has a lot going on in her mind. She has just turned twenty fucking one years old, physically speaking, for Christ’s fucking sake.

Sheesh.

And she will convert the world to really believe in world peace, one day. Trust God for that.

Or just trust your instinct/heart, for that matter.

Now, as I was saying, even though the last Buddha was most likely a Tauran and I’m a Piscean, if I were to bear children at all, I would probably bear a Cancerian daughter and a Piscean son, or the other way around, whichever astrology or nature would prefer, and I will never expect them to follow my footsteps.

It is not merely a matter of not wanting to repeat the same mistakes my parents made but also because I truly believe in personal individualism in this community of many; oneness in manyness.

Besides, as history has taught me, there can only be one Buddha per realm per lifetime. Buddhism will be gone again when nobody believes in it anymore; when everyone forgets its basic meaning for life: Life; progress; change, through peace; inner peace, first and foremost.

And as our hearts instinctively know, peace can never exist without love.

World peace cannot exist if nobody is truly at peace with their constant inner war waged by the mind.

The only constant in life is change. In order for you to be at peace with yourself, you must try your best to always remember that you will forever contradict yourself, no matter what your mind says.

You are only human after all.

Humans are the perfect walking contradiction. Welcome to both Heaven and Hell. The mind is a wonderful playground if you know how to use it to your advantage. The heart never betrays the mind and the mind can always betray the heart, if the heart does not know how to influence the mind to cooperate with it.

The heart remembers what is good, always. It’s the attitude that counts.

I’ve deduced that this is probably why God chose me, Jolin, to be a reincarnation of the last Buddha to speak the ultimate truth in my own delusional ways. God told me (I don’t know how to explain how, don’t ask) I am the perfect Yin and Yang, that’s why. And it wasn’t even God who first mentioned such curse and blessing in disguise to me.

Following this line of thought, this is also probably why the Dalai Lama is only and just the Dalai Lama, and why nobody up till now knew how much of an asshole the last Buddha really was.

They were both just humans after all, not God(s).

You see, it takes one to know one. If one is truly enlightened, one would do their best to try and see the cause and effect of everything in the universe. The concept of infinity and Karma cannot be completely understood for their very essence until you have been through it all as well, like I have.

So, yes, I was once upon a time a beetle (that’s probably how the Beatles got their name, even if they didn’t know why, as much as they probably named their band in relation to the beatnik culture), a germ, an amoeba, and 2ce. That’s why I’m no longer afraid of them and death, as much as my mind is still trying to contradict my heart. But I’m in better control of them now, therefore I am content that I will never be truly content to the fullest.

God really reveals itself in the most bizarre ways possible. Debating about God’s (non-)existence is a big waste of time. People who do that all the time don’t know how to enjoy their own lives and are often jealous of those who do know how to enjoy their own.

I bet the Pope doesn’t know jackass about this. If he does, I bet he is one hell of a rich bastard for keeping this national secret, or a brilliant business man, to say the least.

Mind you, the spiritual path is not meant for everybody. That’s why nobody should be in a hurry to find God. Life is not about finding God or drugs or being a hippie; it’s meant to be lived to the fullest.

Your heart will always know what is best for you, even for your mind.

Because if you rush your meeting with God, in the end, you’ll realize that you’ve only got yourself fucked.

God can always take care of itself; has always been swell. And God always forgives, no matter who or what or why or how.

Now the question is, can you forgive God for all your life’s lessons?
