Ed’s note: On an irrelevant note, I’ve just won Stev’s fuck contest. Hence, I’ve been rewarded with an “all expenses paid blog review“.
His reflection on my current blog design somewhat resonated with my concern. Hence, I’ve found the heart to try to be arsed enough to beautify this somewhat shitty layout thanks to kiamsiap* WordPress’s generosity.

Poll #1: I’m thinking of using more colours and pictures for future posts. A bit like the ones in my old sanctuary but neater. In other words, I’m planning to paste screenshots of blogs I’ve composed in Micro$oft Word (so that I can use a variety of fonts instead of this boring default) instead.

Easy. To control the information that goes around. If say anything involved of opposition party or anything that can harm the ruling party.

Posted 1 year, 7 months agoyour layout is fine..not to be disrespectful to the guy who made the banner or anything, but it’s not very good..IMHO it looks like someone just opened a photograph in PS and abused the use of the effects/textures and came up with it

everything in size 2-3 is fine..using more than one font size makes your blog look separated.
if you don’t make any changes, keep on writing anyway, its good stuff

they can institute all kinds of cyberlaws, but there will always be ways around them.
here in kuwait during the elections a coupleof blogs actually disclosed some massive voter fraud as well as one candidate caught on video buying votes.
naturally for the “good” of the people they blocked those blogs, but people outside managed to get to them,…pdf-ed them and mailed them back to kuwait.
so its not really a big deal

The beauty of your blog lies more in the content than style.
Style only matters for first-time visitors, but it is the contents that makes a lasting impression.

1: (i) this blog layout does not suit someone as sacarstic(its a compliment) as you.

2: font size 3 or 4. big fonts in long or short posts not done properly will look bimbotic.

1. Colors & pictures
Good if relevant but not really necessary (unless deemed otherwise). Would rather you write more than wasting time on petty stuff.
But yeah like george & skunk says updating the header is a good idea indeed
bodicea: Will work on that after finals and have got time.
2. Fonts
Long serious posts might do well with smaller fonts (size 2-3) as easier to read without wearing out the mouse scroller

Short funny posts imho can do with any size actually (even the tard one)

About the article, Malaysia is deteriorating by the day! We are falling into a vortex that leads to totalitarianism! T_T God save Malaysia from herself!

Posted 1 year, 7 months agoFont size looks fine to me - but I do have new glasses - things are a lot clearer now.
They are trying to regulate and censor bloggers everywhere now.
Noth in the USA and in the UK they have stated that there needs to be a code of practice or they need to be censored.
SO much for free speech!
